Create Ingredients
In this section, you'll learn how to create new ingredients, import information from the USDA, and set trim yields. You will learn about Ingredient units and conversions, too.

Create Locations
Locations are defined as a physical place where food is produced and/or served. In this section, you learn how to use Locations in Galley.

Vendor data defines your vendor list and which of your location(s) are served by each vendor, or if the vendor is global. This section discusses vendor groups and how to use them.

Cost your Food Data
Once you've defined vendor items in Galley, you can associate those vendor items with your Ingredient. Once this is set up, Galley automatically prices your items. This section shows how to link vendor items to ingredients, and offers troubleshooting steps if your recipes are not costing properly.
Categorize your Food Data
Galley provides virtually unlimited category/tag combinations that you can use to segment your food data exactly as you want to. This section defines what categories are, how they function, and how to use them.
