How do I import nutrition information from the USDA Food Data Database?

The USDA Food Data Database has thousands of ingredient nutrition information and density conversions (when available) to leverage in Galley.

Users can easily add USDA nutritional and density information to any ingredient or vendor item through the USDA Ingredients section on the Ingredient or Vendor Item's page. This will immediately assign any density information or nutrition values available from the USDA to that item.

Note: If an Ingredient has different nutrition information than the primary Vendor Item linked to it, the Vendor Item's nutrition values will take precedence over the Ingredient's.
