What is a recipe yield?

A recipe's yield represents the amount of a finished product the recipe creates.

This can be measured in standard units (for example, ounces, pounds, gallons, each) or a custom unit that you created (i.e. serving).

A recipe's yield can be scaled up or down on the Recipe page.
