      How do I update an ingredient serving size?

      When an ingredient gets linked to an item from the USDA database, the corresponding nutrition values default to a serving size of 100 g. However, the value and unit of measurement can be changed at any time.

      Click into the box next to serving size to enter an amount then click on the 'Save' button.

      You can always reset nutritional values to the original USDA amounts by clicking on Reset All Nutrients.

      Any USDA nutritional values pulled from the database can be overwritten. Nutritional information can also be added without linking a USDA ingredient. 

      Note that manually added values will need to be adjusted with any serving size update.
