How do I see when I last received a vendor item?

Learn how to add the 'last received' column to the vendor item table on ingredient pages to help determine the most recently purchased vendor item

In Galley, you have the flexibility to associate multiple Vendor Items with a single Ingredient. For instance, you might typically source romaine hearts from your preferred vendor, but when they run out of stock, you can easily turn to a secondary vendor. Additionally, during the summer months, you may choose to buy these ingredients from a local farmer.

Galley provides clear visibility into the last time you received items from each vendor. This information can assist you in determining the optimal ranking of vendor items, allowing you to prioritize which item should be listed first, second, third, and so on.

Tip: The vendor item data (including cost, pack conversions, and nutrition information) listed in the top position will automatically be applied to all instances of the associated ingredient within your recipes for the specified location.
