Order ingredients and recipes from one Galley location to another.
Transfer orders let two locations within your company order ingredient and recipes from one another. For a location to be orderable from, it must be configured as a transfer location. See how to configure transfer locations in the article: How do I create a transfer catalog?
Table of Contents
Create Transfer Orders
Once the transfer locations are configured, you're ready to create transfer orders. To do so, open the Orders catalog page and click Create Transfer Order. Then, select the destination location. The destination location represents who the goods on the order will be delivered to. Then, select one of the sources that are available to the destination. If the desired source location does not appear in the list, it has not been properly configured as a transfer location.
Add Items to Transfer Order
Once the order is created, you can select the ingredients and recipes to order. The available items are defined by the transfer catalog at the source location. To add items to the order, click the + in the Items table and select the desired ingredients and recipes. Once the items have been added to the order, close the drawer by clicking X to view the order and update the item quantities.
Transfer Order Data & Actions
Transfer orders have the same data as purchase orders, including notes, delivery date, status, and tags. Using the actions dropdown you can export an order, create a copy, update the status, or delete the order.
If you have the Transfer Order Receiving company setting enabled, marking a Transfer Order as Sent will deplete inventory at the source location and create expected receiving events at the destination location.
