How do I assign a category-based permission to users?

Restrict a user from editing resources based on tag.

Galley allows admins to restrict user access to specific resources based on the tag applied to them. Category-Based permission can be applied to users from that user's page.

Once a Category Based Permission is created, it can be applied to a user. To do so, navigate to the Settings page and click the Users tab. Then, select the users to whom you would like to add the Category Based Permission.

After selecting the users, click on the Edit icon right below, and a modal will appear. On this modal, go to the last box called Category-Based Permissions and click on Set Permission.

You may then select all of the Category-Based Permissions that you would like to assign or un-assign to this set of users, then click on Save. After saving, those users will have editing rights limited by the Category-Based Permission.
