What does the TripleSeat-Galley menu import workflow do?
While there's no direct integration between TripleSeat and Galley, this workflow allows you to bring events from TripleSeat into Galley as menus and map event menu items to Galley recipes.

How are TripleSeat items and Galley recipes mapped?
To ensure TripleSeat items populate as mapped recipes in Galley, the item's SKU must match the recipe's Short Code.
- Set item SKU in TripleSeat Settings > Documents and Menus > Menus > Items
- Set recipe Short Code in Galley Recipes
How do I manage TripleSeat events for export?
You will need to manage your events and their menu selections in TripleSeat.
- Open an event in TripleSeat from the Events page. If you are creating a new event, TripleSeat requires these fields to be filled out:
- Event Name
- Date, Start Time and End Time
- Status
- Account and Contact
- Area(s)
- In the Docs tab, ensure at least one document is added to the event - menus cannot be created without an associated document.
- In the Menu Selections tab, add menu items to your event
and assign Quantity for each item. - Now your event is ready to be exported.
How do I export TripleSeat events?
To get your event data for Galley import, you'll need to export the Menu Items & Menu Packages Report from TripleSeat.
- Select a date range (e.g. This week) that includes your events to generate a Menu Items & Menu Packages Report.
- In your report, click Customize.
- Go to the Column tab, select all required (*) and helpful fields for import, and click Update Report.

- Date (*)
- Menu Item/Package Name
- Sku
- Qty
- Export the CSV (Formatted) report
- Check your email for the report download link.
Note: If it doesn't show up in your inbox, be sure to check your spam folder. To avoid missing TripleSeat emails, add @tripleseat.com to your safe-senders list. - Click the link in the email to download the CSV file - this will be your import file for Galley.
How do I import TripleSeat events into Galley?
You will use Galley's Menu Importer to import TripleSeat events.
- Make sure you have the event CSV report ready.
- In Galley, access the importer from Menus > Import.
- Use the "Upload file" button or drag and drop the TripleSeat export file into the importer grid.
- Map TripleSeat fields with Galley fields, then click Continue to proceed.

Click Submit to complete the import. - Once the import is successful, a new menu will be created in Galley based on the event data and your mapping in step 4.
Note: If a TripleSeat menu item (SKU) doesn't match an existing Galley recipe (Short Code), a new recipe will be created automatically in Galley.
