How do I ignore packaging on my nutrition label?

Ignore non-food items like packaging from nutritional calculations and on the nutrition label ingredient list.

Packaging and other non-edible items are often added to recipes as ingredients to inform costing and purchasing decisions. However, because these items are not consumable they should not be included in nutritional calculations or appear on the nutrition label ingredient lists. For these ingredients, enable the Ignore Nutrition option on the nutrition tab of the ingredient's detail page.

When enabled, any nutritional values from the ingredient will not be pulled into recipes, the ingredient will not be listed in the Component Nutritional Values section on the recipe detail page, nutritional errors for the ingredient will not appear on the recipe detail page, and the ingredient will not appear in nutrition label ingredient lists.
