How do I export a Recipe using a custom template?

Export custom-formatted exports for recipes and production packets.

What are Custom Templates?

Custom templates allow Galley recipe data and production data to be exported in a customized format. These custom formats can add branding, pull in additional data, pull in multiple images, and more.

If you don't currently have a custom template and would like one, reach out to your Galley Customer Success Manager.

How to export a Recipe Custom Template

The "Export Template" option under the Actions dropdown does not appear until you've got a Recipe Custom Template defined.

Recipe custom templates are accessible via the Actions dropdown on a Recipe's detail page. Simply click Export Template, choose your desired file format (Docx or PDF), and select the template. The export will download to your device after a few seconds.

How to export a Production Custom Template

The "Export Template" option does not appear until you've got a Production Custom Template defined.

Production custom templates are accessible on the production page near the Production List section. Simply click Export Template, choose your desired file format (Docx or PDF), and select the template. The export will download to your device after a few seconds.
