How do I assign and manage a user's location access?
You can set permissions to allow users to view all locations or restrict them to access specific ones. There are two ways that location access can be edited for a user.
Managing access through the bulk edit option
To access users and edit permissions, click on your profile icon from the Galley dashboard and select Settings. Click on Users.
Select the users you'd like to edit and click on the Edit icon that appears in the menu. Click on the Set Permissions button under Locations. You can toggle between allowing a user to view all locations or specific locations. Click on the toggle button to switch to Only specific locations. Select the locations, then click on Save.
Editing a single user's permissions
From the Users page, select the user you'd like to edit. Click the toggle button to switch permissions to Only specific locations. Select the locations and click on the Save button at the bottom of the page.
Removing location access
To remove access to a location from a user, click on the "X" next to a location's name. If you need to edit more than one user's location access, use the bulk edit option to assign the locations the users should have access to.
Note: Only admins can grant location access.
