Discover how to activate Cooking Methods in your account and manage permissions for who can add or modify Cooking Methods in your recipes.
Galley's Cooking Methods feature is available to all accounts with Galley's Nutrition module. Access to Cooking Methods is controlled by a Company Setting and User Permissions. Both are available from the Settings Page which is accessible to account admins. To open this page, click the avatar in the upper right-hand corner of the screen and select Settings.
To enable or disable the Cooking Methods company setting, stay in the Settings tab and toggle Enable Cooking Methods which can be found in the Recipe section.
To control user permissions related to company settings, click on the Users tab. From there, choose the user to whom you wish to assign permissions for Cooking Methods.
Recipe Cooking Method Permission- Edit Recipe Cooking Methods- if selected, this permission allows the user to edit cooking methods assigned to recipes.
- Edit Recipe Item Cooking Methods- if selected, this permission allows the user to edit a Cooking Method assigned to an item in a recipe.
Ingredient Cooking Methods Permissions
- Edit Ingredient Cooking Methods- if assigned, this permission allows a user to edit Cooking Methods assigned to ingredients
Cooking Methods User Permissions
- Create Cooking Method- if assigned, this user permission allows a user to create new Cooking Methods while within a recipe or on the Cooking Methods page.
- Edit Cooking Method- if assigned, this user permission allows a user to edit a Cooking Method on the Cooking Methods page
- Delete Cooking Method- if assigned, this user permission allows a user to delete a Cooking Method, which will also delete it from recipes utilizing that Cooking Method.
