What does the Curate-Galley integration do?

The Curate-Galley integration bridges event planning and food production workflows. Curate is an event management platform that caterers use to plan events. Through this integration, event professionals can seamlessly sync menu items between Curate and Galley — streamlining the event order fulfillment process.
  • Galley → Curate: Galley recipes can be mapped and synced to Curate products.
  • Curate → Galley: Curate event orders can sync to Galley as menus for production after an event is confirmed.

How do I connect Curate to Galley?

To connect Curate to Galley, you’ll need to add the integration in Curate and authenticate with a Galley API key. Please reach out to support@galleysolutions.com or in the in-app chat to obtain your API key.

  1. Access Curate Integrations Page from Settings - Integrations, Connect Galley and Get Started.

  2. Enter API Key provided by Galley, and Submit to authenticate.

How do I map Curate products to Galley recipes?

  1. In Curate, navigate to the Catalog > Products section.
  2. In the Product details page, use the MAPPED GALLEY RECIPE dropdown to search for and select the corresponding Galley recipe.
  3. Once the mapped Galley recipe is selected, the Galley Price will automatically populate.
  4. Click Save.

Optional: Users may choose to create a "Galley Mapped" tag for easier organization in Curate.

Can I bulk map or bulk import recipes?

Bulk mapping is currently not supported. However, for new account setups in Curate, Galley can provide an export of all sellable recipes to support bulk importing products into Curate. This ensures direct name matches between products and recipes, which can make the mapping process easier.

How do I manage Curate events for syncing?

To sync a Curate event to Galley, the event must have mapped products (linked to Galley recipes) and a status of Booked.

  1. Create or open an event in Curate from the Events page.

  2. Go to the Orders tab.

  3. Add products that have been mapped to Galley recipes by search or import from catalog, and assign quantities for each line item.

  4. Ensure the Event Status is set to Booked — only booked events can be synced to Galley.

  5. Your event is ready to be synced to Galley.
