7 C's: Costing

You cost ingredients in Galley by linking your vendor items to them.

Costs will be pulled into every instance the ingredient is used, so long as the required conversions (e.g., density and custom unit conversions) are present.

The beauty of the Galley data model is that you can link multiple vendor items to an ingredient. We understand that you might alternate between vendors for your purchase of some ingredients. We'll dive into how to do all of this in the demo.

Note: If the vendor item module is not available as part of your Galley package, you will simply cost your ingredients manually by entering the information in the cost field just below the ingredient name.
