What are Background Jobs?
Check the status and results of asynchronous tasks on the Background Jobs page.
Galley uses Background Jobs to manage operations that take a long time to complete. These are commonly used for imports and other actions that require significant processing time.
Rather than making you wait on the page while the action completes, Galley processes these tasks asynchronously—meaning they run in the background while you continue working. A Job tracks the progress of each task and notifies you when it's finished. This way, you're not stuck waiting and can use Galley normally during the process.
You can check the status and outcome of your jobs via the Jobs Catalog Page, which can be found in the Profile dropdown. From the Background Jobs page, standard users can view the jobs they have executed, while admins can view jobs that all users in the company have executed.

Open the page of a specific job to see its status and outcome—whether it's still running, completed successfully, or encountered any errors.
