Product Release Note - Smarter Copy & Paste

Copy and paste in the Menu Planner just got a serious upgrade. You can now paste to multiple days at once, and your selections stay put after pasting—so you can keep building without breaking your flow.

Multi-target paste

Toggle clipboard icons on multiple days, then confirm once to paste your items to all selected targets at the same time—no more repeating paste day by day.

Selection stays after paste

After pasting, your copied items remain selected so you can immediately paste again to another set of days or continue editing without re-selecting.

Keyboard shortcuts

Use Ctrl+C (copy), Ctrl+X (cut), Ctrl+V (paste), Enter (confirm), and Escape (cancel) to move through the entire workflow without reaching for the mouse.

Quick tip: After copying items, click the clipboard icon on as many target days as you need, then hit “Confirm” once. All selected days receive the pasted items in a single action.

Permissions: Requires Create Menu Plan Event Item to paste and Delete Menu Plan Event Item to cut. Your existing Menu Planner permissions apply—no changes needed.
