Product Release Note - Preview Recipes Before Adding

You can now preview a recipe’s full details—yield, components, dietary flags—directly from the “Add Product” search in the Menu Planner. Click the eye icon on any recipe row to see exactly what you’re adding before it hits the plan.

Inline recipe preview

Click the eye icon on any recipe row in the “Add Product” search to open a preview showing the recipe title, category tags, dietary flags, total yield, and a full components table—all without navigating away.

Works in Plans and Cycles

In Menu Plans, the preview opens as a side-by-side panel so you can keep browsing the search results. In Menu Cycles, it appears as a dialog overlay. Either way, you get the same full recipe breakdown.

Add directly from the preview

Once you’ve confirmed the recipe is the right fit, hit the “Add to Plan” button at the bottom of the preview to drop it straight into your item group. No extra steps needed.

Quick tip: Previewing a recipe doesn’t close your search results. Browse, preview, and keep searching—your place in the list stays right where you left it.
