Product Release Note - Location-Scoped Nutritional Values

Fine-tune nutrition data for each location

Manually set recipe nutritional values can now be scoped to a specific location or applied globally. If your nutritional values vary by site and you are doing a manual override, you can record accurate nutrition data for each location without affecting the rest of your operation.

Global or location-specific

When you begin setting nutritional values, you choose whether to apply them globally (the previous behavior) or to your current location only. That selection stays active until you leave the page.

Clear visibility with tooltips

A tooltip next to each nutrient name shows whether the manually set value is scoped to the current location or applied globally, so there is never any confusion about where a value came from.

Smart resolution priority

Galley now resolves nutritional values in order: location-specific manual values first, then global manual values, then calculated values. This means location overrides take effect automatically without disrupting your global defaults.

Quick tip: Your existing manually set nutritional values are preserved as global values. No action is needed to keep your current data intact.
