Recipe Page Header Improvements

 

We've made some improvements to the look and feel of the recipe page header:

 

1. Scale is now on the top right corner of the page, establishing it as a primary action and reducing confusion about its relationship to recipe yield.
2. Sellable & Component Picker is now smaller to free up page space.
3. External Name is now explicitly manually set or inherited from the recipe name.1
4. Description is now displayed at the top of the page, next to external name, and can be expanded or collapsed.1

5. Field Groupings make it so related fields are viewed together and will wrap together to the next line when page size decreases, improving readability. 

6. Yield % is now a standalone entitled field.2
7. Serving Size and Serving Per Container can now be viewed in the recipe header when setting recipe sales prices per container.3
8. Cost Per Container is visible in addition to the total recipe cost when setting recipe sales prices per container.3
9. Food Cost % is now an explicitly named field and can be calculated using the recipe serving size and servings per container instead of the recipe yield, allowing for recipe sales prices to be set per serving/container rather than per recipe yield.3
10. HACCP Rules have been moved out of the recipe header and are now displayed below the Procedure section.4

 

 


1. To enable external names and descriptions, contact your Galley Customer Success Manager.
2. To view yield %, enable the Recipe Yield Percent company setting.
3. To calculate food cost % using the serving size and servings per container, view a per container cost, and view serving size and servings per container in the recipe header, enable the Set Recipe Sales Price Per Container company setting.
