In your Galley dashboard you'll see a set of icons that represent what we call modules. These separate out different sets of food data (ex. recipes) so that you can easily navigate to exactly what you are looking for. Below we'll go into each module and take a look at the icons within them.

Menus
Menus are recipes that are grouped together, and they can represent things such as an event or a concept. Selecting at least one menu will bring up the different actions that can be done with them.
- Export - there are two types of exports available for menus:
- Costs Report
- Detailed Costs Report - this export lists the recipes within selected menus
- Cycle count
- Purchase
- Production
- Bulk tag
- Bulk delete
Recipes
Recipes are composed of sub-recipes and ingredients. Selected recipes can be made into a menu from this module as well as other bulk actions.

Ingredients
Ingredients are one of the key components of a recipe. Within this module you can make bulk edits as well as export different types of CSVs.

Preparations
Preparations can be added within this module and at the ingredient level within a recipe. Take a look at this article to learn more about adding them.
Categories
Categories allow you to tag and group items. They can be applied to ingredients, recipes, menus and menu items. You can find out more about categories and how to use them here.
Inventory
Here is where you can create cycle counts and templates, verify orders received and take inventory of ingredients and menus.
Vendors
You can view all vendors and vendor items on the Vendors page. This is also where you can create and view vendor groups. Information about how vendors, vendor items and vendor groups work can be found here.
Purchase Orders
On this page purchase orders can be created, customized and submitted. This is also where you can view your invoices.
Locations
Locations can be created, filtered and grouped. You can also link vendors to individual locations or groups on this page.
Concepts
You can view, create and delete concepts that can be used to tag recipes.
