Does Galley integrate with Square?
Update menus and items in Square from Galley menu plans and recipes/ingredients
You can keep your Square menus and items up-to-date with your Galley data. Using this integration, menus will be created in Square from your Galley menu plan events. The recipes and ingredients on those events will either create new items in Square or update your existing items.
During integration setup, you will map certain event category values to menus in Square. Then, every morning, the integration will look for approved events today's date with one of the designated category values. If one is found, the associated Square menu will be updated. Menu groups in the menu will be found or created using the menu plan event item group. If any of the recipes or ingredients on the menu plan have already been associated to items in Square, the existing item will be updated using the Galley data. If it does not exist, it will be created and will be marked with a New From Galley field in Square.
Start Integration Setup
1. Login to Marketplace
- Visit the LINK Marketplace platform.
- Create an account or log in to an existing account
2. Navigate to Integration App
- Click on Apps in the navigation menu.
- Find Galley - Square from the list of available integration flows.
- Select Start Workflow.
Account Authentication
3. Connect Galley Account
- Enter the Galley API Key.
- Click Connect.
- Upon success, your Galley account is now linked.
4. Connect Square Account
- Enter your Square Username and Password.
- If you are already logged into square, this will be skipped.
- Upon successful login, the Square account will be connected.
Integration Configuration
5. Category Selection
- Click Continue.
- Choose the relevant Category from Galley that you wish to be used for mapping category values to Square menus.
- Click Save and Continue.
6. Location Mapping
- Map Galley locations to corresponding Square locations.
- This ensures accurate sync of menu items per location.
- Click Continue once mappings are done.
Menu and Product Mapping
7. Menu Mapping
- The Menu Mapping Page will display menus based on selected locations.
- Map the appropriate Galley menus to Square menus.
- Click Continue.
8. Product Mapping
- Existing products from Galley and Square will be auto-mapped if names match.
- You can:

- Edit the mapping by deleting entries.
- Manually search and map the new products.
- Click Continue once mappings are complete.
Review & Final Sync
9. Review Integration Summary
- The Review Page will show:
- New Products to be created in Square under category: New from Galley.
- Existing Products to be updated.
- Carefully verify all entries.
10. Run Sync
- Click on Run Sync to start the integration process.
- Monitor the sync status and logs for completion.
Post-Sync
11. Verify Sync Summary & Data in the Square account
- After sync, confirm:

- All products were created or updated as expected.
- Categories and locations reflect correct mappings.
- Menus appear as configured.
